Conduct and Discipline

Personal Responsibility

Students are personally responsible for their behaviour both within and outside the school premises.

Property Damage

Any damage to school property, including furniture, library books and sports materials, will result in fines.

Behavioural Expectations

Lack of punctuality, disobedience, disrespect and engagement in bad moral influences may lead to dismissal from the school.

Vandalism Prohibition

Writing or scribbling on walls, throwing papers or sprinkling ink in classrooms is strictly forbidden.

Language Policy

Only English must be spoken within the school campus to encourage a conducive learning environment.

Attendance and Absence

Students should not absent themselves from school, unless under unavoidable circumstances. Parents are responsible for ensuring their wards to attend school regularly.

Parent-Teacher Check-in

Parents are encouraged to attend the scheduled Parent-Teacher Meetings on Wednesdays between 3.30 p.m. and 4.00 p.m.

Meeting Teachers in Emergency

In case of emergencies, parents can meet teachers with the permission of the Principal.

Principal Interaction

Parents can meet the Principal at 3.00 p.m. on any working day whereas prior appointments are necessary.

Punctuality

Students are required to be on the school campus by 8.45 a.m. without fail.

Note: It is imperative for students, parents and guardians to familiar themselves with the school's conduct and discipline policies. These guidelines are in place to maintain a positive and respectful learning environment and adherence to these rules contribute to the overall well-being and success of each student at Cauvery Matriculation Higher Secondary School. Violation of these rules may result in disciplinary action.
